Food Topics: Healthy Snacks

Last month, Mike Roussell's article, "16 Snacks That Are OK to Eat at Night," was published on the Livestrong.com Web site.  Some of the snacks on the list are a little far fetched (like high protein cake batter), but others are quite easy to prepare. Here's a partial list of Roussell's suggestions:

1. berries and cream
2. kale chips
3. almonds
4. frozen blue berries
5. fresh blue berries
6. warm milk with honey
7. pumpkin seeds
8. raspberry Greek yogurt pops
9. chocolate, peanut butter, and cottage cheese
10. pistachios
According to Roussell, both what you eat as well as when you eat it should be considered when trying to maintain a healthy weight.
